Forgive, Lord

Psalm 31

  • Refrain:
Forgive, Lord, the guilt of my sin.
Forgive, Lord, the guilt of my sin.
  1. Happy the ones whose sins are forgiven,
happy the ones whom the Lord gives no guilt,
in those whose spirit has no guile,
in those wholse spirit has no guile.
  2. Now I acknowledge fault, my guilt I did not hide,
I confess my sins to the Lord,
and, you, Lord, have forgiven the guilt of my sins,
and, you, Lord, have forgiven the guilt of my sins,
  3. You are my hiding place, O Lord,
    you save me from distress.
Rejoice in the Lord, exult, O you just.
Come, sing your joy to the Lord.
