I shall be filled

Psalm 16

for Ann McGowan

  • Refrain:
I shall be filled, when I awake,
with the sight of your glory,
    the sight of your glory.
I shall be filled, when I awake,
with the sight of your glory, O God.
  1. Hear my voice as I call,
    pay heed to my cry,
turn your ear to my prayer,
no deceit is on my lips, for justice I cry.
  2. I kept my feet to your path,
I did not falter my stride,
I am here and I call, you hear me,
O God, turn your ear, hear my words.
  3. In the shadow of your wings,
with God's justice I shall see your face,
and be filled when I awake.
